About
A snapped trowel and a blister that lasted a week
Maviro Courtyard is a sole proprietorship based in Jaipur, Rajasthan, operating online as Maviro Courtyard (mavirocourtyard.shop).
How this started
A trowel bought at a market snapped at the neck on its second bed, because the blade and the tang were two pieces of metal spot-welded together rather than one piece forged through. Nothing on the label said so, and there was no way to tell by looking.
The replacement was three times the price and is still in use six seasons later. The difference was one construction detail nobody had bothered to print, and that gap is what this shop exists to close.
A tool that fails in the middle of a job costs more than the better tool would have.
Our commitment
Construction stated, not implied
Whether a blade is forged through the tang or welded to it, and what the handle is made from, is written on every listing. Those two facts decide how long a tool lasts.
Weight and length given
Grams and the overall length in centimetres are listed, because a spade that suits somebody of one height is punishing for somebody of another.
No claims about steel we cannot verify
Where a maker states a steel grade or a hardness we pass it on and mark it as their figure. We do not invent hardness numbers, and we do not call anything lifetime.
What stays out of the catalogue
Every tool listed is used here for a season on real beds before it goes up. Pruners whose springs sat flat after a month, hoes that loosened at the ferrule, and gloves that split at the thumb are not on the site, and the reason each one failed is written into how we buy the next batch.
We trade under our own name and stock no other company’s branded ranges, so nothing here is presented as an official or authorised version of anything else. There is no warranty beyond your statutory rights and we do not pretend there is.
Online only
There is no showroom and no walk-in counter. Maviro Courtyard trades entirely online and ships across India from Jaipur, Rajasthan, which keeps overheads off the price of the goods.
